Ishidaira is a delinquent who, by force of circumstances, will find himself working part-time in a library. The passionate Hayasemaru and the muscular Shirai will then guide him in this new environment, while trying to understand why Ishidaira, who is so attracted to books and their contents, refuses to admit this attraction. The library will welcome a young schoolgirl who wants to learn the trade while Ishidaira will help a young person who does not dare to borrow the magazines that she likes.
Ishidaira est un délinquant qui par la force des choses, va se retrouver à travailler à temps partiel dans une bibliothèque. La passionnée Hayasemaru et le musculeux Shirai vont alors le guider dans ce nouvel environnement, tout en essayant de comprendre pourquoi Ishidaira, qui est si attiré par les livres et leurs contenus, refuse d'admettre cette attirance. La bibliothèque va accueillir une jeune écolière qui souhaite apprendre le métier alors que Ishidaira va apporter son aide à une jeune personne qui n'ose pas emprunter les magazines qui lui plaisent.
