Après avoir réalisé un diagnostic, le jeune médecin comprend que le problème provient de l'estomac du dragon et qu'il va falloir procéder à une opération extrêmement complexe et risquée afin de venir à bout du mal. Risquée pour la dragonne, mais aussi pour Amami car il va devoir entrer dans le corps de la créature afin d'examiner par lui-même d'où provient le problème et il est certain que l'estomac d'un dragon n'est pas conçu pour accueillir des humains.
