This is the first collection of works by the artist 食蟬, produced between 2016 and 2021. But it is not a question for the artist of having a work that is simply composed of these drawings. Shi Shan took photos of some of these works in order to be able to offer them in extreme resolution and with a renewed perspective. Thus, petals will be arranged on certain faces. Divided into four parts, mountains, flowers, stardust and transformation, the chosen illustrations are absolutely magnificent. The details, which are shown to you through the photographs, are impressive and demonstrate the artist's technique and mastery. The staging of these photographs also shows the painter's relationship to her work and it is then a work that is both important for understanding the artist but also important because it is a rare way of presenting these works to the public.
