After her father's funeral, Hama Tobari heads to the ocean, where she wants to be carried away. But as she sets off, she sees a shiny shape on the sand. A young man of great beauty lies there and when he wakes up, he speaks a strange language. Hama decides to take this strange person into her home. It soon turns out that Yoru, the young man, is an alien and he tells Hama that he can grant any of these wishes in exchange for room and board. But the young girl, still lost in these feelings, does not know what to answer him and these two beings will live together for a while, until Hama knows what to answer her.
Après les funérails de son père, Hama Tobari se dirige vers l'océan, où elle souhaite se laisser emporter. Mais au moment de s'élancer, elle aperçoit une forme brillante sur le sable. Un jeune homme, d'une grande beauté, repose là et lorsqu'il s'éveille, il parle une étrange langue. Hama décide de recueillir cette étrange personne chez elle. Il se révèle vite que Yoru, le jeune homme, est un extraterrestre et il dit à Hama qu'il peut exaucer n'importe lequel de ces souhaits en échange du gîte et du couvert. Mais la jeune fille, encore perdue dans ces sentiments, ne sait quoi lui répondre et ces deux êtres vont vivre un temps ensemble, jusqu'à ce qu'Hama sache quoi lui répondre.
