For Ultraman's 55th anniversary, Goro Uguisudani's articles that appeared in Uchusen (宇宙船 is a Japanese magazine about science fiction and tokutasu films, television series, and other media ) magazine from 2016 to 2021 have been collected into a single volume to pay tribute to the studio's work. Tusburaya Special Effects Productions, created by illustrious special effects master Eiji Tsuburaya. Many monster designers, including the great Senkatsu Ikeya, were interviewed and allowed their preparatory work, sketches, and final renders to be shown. The book covers the decade 1970-1980, which begins with the Ultraman Returns series (1971-1972) and ends with Ultraman 80 (1980-1981).
